About Me
I used to find these types of assignments and conversations annoying. I kinda still do. But since school I have learned that there is a time and place for these types of questions in real life. Like when I am researching to learn something, find reviews, etc. I am far less likely to trust a website with someone signing their name at the end of the article as “Dr” without first proving to me that they are a medical doctor, ya know?

So, that being said, who am I?
I’m a wannabe crunchy, an attempting homesteader (yeah, I know, not a thing.. except it is? lol), a goofball, a perpetual learner, and a homeschooling mom. And above all else, I am a Christ follower.
I love modest fashion, anime, books (reading only for now), sewing, cosplay, gardening, cooking, baking, organizing, cleaning, music, and a lot more. I love finding ways to teach concepts so my kids' eyes light up with understanding and excitement. I also love learning for myself. I love card games, board games, word games... okay I like games, lol. I can be sarcastic, and love a good dad joke..
So.. I guess that's a bit about me. (thinking and shrug emoji)
Now, as for the next big question.
Why did I start this blog?
Partly to remind myself of the adventures of life.
Partly to share what I have learned with those who might find themselves in the a similar place in life.
A big part is to encourage those who may need it; I want it to be a place to find that you are not alone.
Largely as a place to honor God with all He has done; to tell His story through mine.
A place to be silly, be reminded what it means to sit in awe.
Somewhere to find random bits of advice and tip.
A place to tell ridiculous stories. Probably a lot of those, lol.
I might consider posting some items that I make for sale... maybe (thinking emoji)
I also plan on sharing my reviews of certain products, recipes, study tips and curriculum helps, etc. (Those might be affiliate linked just bc I have used the product/service for a while, or pay for certain things, just fyi).
Yes, that could maybe bring me a little bit of money. But! Just fyi, I don't like giving reviews for things after only a few uses. I prefer to test the longevity of an item/service before saying anything, so idk how many of those things there will be.
Sooo.. Why the name?
The name IDK Adventures is kinda different, I know. So, why did I choose it?
Simple.
Life is a gift.
It is filled with stories. Some good, some not, some ridiculous, some mundane. There are moments filled with comedy, others sorrow. Some are filled with determination, while others are wrought with feelings of being lost and alone.
But those are all parts of a good story, right? The best ones we want to read, the ones that we remember on rainy days. The ones that impact the way we live our lives, the priorities we choose, even things like our favorite foods can be influenced by the stories we read.
And that's what our lives are filled with; stories.
